Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i Laptop First Impressions

We got some demo units of the Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i and I just wanted to share my first impressions bout these devices. Right now we couldn't test performance as they're engineering samples but ever since I've moved to an Ipad Pro, I kinda started appreciating portables much more. The convenience of having the form factor of a laptop or tablet does have a special appeal to me.

The Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i Philippine pre-orders start July 20 - August 7, 2020 and will pre-orders purchases will receive up to Php40,000 of premium gifts from Lenovo Philippines. Claiming of pre-orders will start at August 17 up to the end of the month.

This is potential a problem for the Surface. They already make a better machine than a Microsoft but if they can give the performance of the YOGA with a detachable keyboard this will be game on with the Surface and iPad Pro. I am honestly routing for Lenovo seeing I am an old IBMer. I know Lenovo had the Lenovo Tab but it was lacking in the CPU department and since then some changes have been made that everyone can take advantage of them Learning what not to do.

This is actually a rebranded Lenovo miix but this looks more premium. Is there a 4g LTE and micro SD card for this device?

does the touchpad working when detached ? i have the D340 and once the keyboard is detached, the touchpad stops working.

I see you are in the Philippines, but I want to give you a copy and paste from a Canadian site that said the two new models by :Lenovo would NOT be offered in North America and I am DEVASTATED as I would so much like to be able to buy the detachable Yoga that is 13 inches as I hate with a passion any tablet that is 10.5 inches or less as it is not large enough.

So would you be able to say if you have any ideas about this?
I find it horrendous that Lenovo would exclude an area as large as North America and I find it too hard to believe.

Do you have anyway to connect with the company as you are a reviewer to clarify this issue? It has been 2 months since I read this and Lenovo representatives just tell me that they do not know.
