HELL YEAH! WHOO! Been waiting for this since last year, when Roman Josi teased at a 100-point season! As a lifelong Sharks fan (2nd favorite team behind my home-state Detroit Red Wings), it feels great for the first defenseman in over 30 years to notch it with the Sharks! Fantastic, and congrats, Erik! Banner year, I just wish the Sharks were playoff-bound! In any case, a 100-point defenseman is ALWAYS a great time in the NHL!

Five defencemen have scored at least 100 points in a season. They are Bobby Orr (six times, including the overall defenceman record of 139 points in 1970–71), Paul Coffey (five times), Denis Potvin, Al MacInnis, and Brian Leetch (the most recent, in 1991–92)
