Snow shuts down Vancouver

Some Vancouver families made the most of another snow day, getting out sledding before a blast of cold air swoops into the region. But commuters trying to get to and from work didn’t have as much fun.

Can journalists/news network ask why the City of Vancouver failed to deploy snow plows on MAJOR ROADS? What do our taxes pay for? Even GEORGIA street has not been plowed. An entire city cannot claim they are under staffed for 3 years in a row. This is totally unacceptable and a travesty no one is held accountable for this blatant dereliction of duty.

If home owners and businesses…can get a fine for not removing snow out front on there sidewalks..???
How come the city officials don’t get a fine for removing the snow on our roads ??? The roads our taxpayers own??

FYI this is the most snow Vancouver has received in 24hours since 2008. It’s significant and news worthy. Can’t wait for the ignorant comments from people who don’t live in Vancouver.
