Hulk Hogan had long played the superhero in the WWF's never-ending comic book. Like the caped crusaders of ink and film, Hogan had a penchant for saving the day - protecting the collective from whatever evil may spring up. But after a few months away, the Hulkster was back to tackle the latest nuisance to WWE: Sagging business, which lay at the feet of the man playing the hero in his absence.

Remember when ppvs would broadcast with scrambled video. Who else would turn in just to listen. Watching what we didn’t know as kids would be the equivalent of an acid trip.

I’m child of the Golden Age. RIP Macho, Warrior, Andre, Bossman, Prefect, and so many others.

This series could potentially be the best WWF history video ever made available on YouTube. Keep up the good work, Team Cultaholic, I love it!

Couldn’t have enjoyed this series more! Put this money towards a new series for The New Generation, or just buy yourself a pint - I don’t care which. You earned it!

One hell of a series!!! That closing monologue had tears in my eyes as I watched my childhood. I “grew out “ of wrestling as the Gokden age ended, but my god what I would do to go back to those amazing days of my childhood watching SNME and spending my Saturday morning s with Superstars and Chalkenge. I’ll never forget the excitement of getting my WWF magazine in the beginning of every month. Those of us old enough to have experienced this are forever blessed by its magic!!!

The New Generation needs a series like this dedicated to it. Just brilliant!

Welp, after an almost 8 hr sit, I watched all 4 of these back to back, and it was damn worth it.

1990 i was all in. I was 10. I lived WWF. Between that and focusing on trying to be the best goalie i had room for nothing else. Man what a flashback thankyou for posting these

This is the era I got into wrestling. Though my viewership and interest had gotten sporadic at best since the Ruthless Aggression era, this series really brought me back and reminded me why I got into it in the first place, thank you!
