It’s sad that he had to go through some tough times while writing and making this album, but man this is his best work ever in my opinion. The maturity, clarity with the lyrics and the truth of the human condition is totally here, where it was amiss in even the best Oasis songs. On top of that his vocals are so on point and this band is on fire. This is a wonderful piece of art. Love the new album. It’s on rotation 24/7❤

What a glorious tune that is. That chorus... Just pure joy. Drenched in Beatles goodness from the Epi Casino to the strings to the backward sounding Rain-esque guitar in the outro. Honestly, I think Noel Gallagher is underrated as a songwriter if anything.

Again, Jessica Greenfield and Russell Pritchard just killing it on the harmonies. Fucking brilliant ..especially the "Oooh La's la's" I love what they add to the back up vocals...very rich and it blends perfect with Noel's voice!

Whoever did the arrangement for this song is a genius. I love it when rock bands include classical instruments in their performances. The string players are perfect for this song, which is my favorite live version of "Open The Door." Outstanding.
