Unboxing and setting up the new Arcade 1Up Partycade of Ms Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug. Also some first thoughts after running it for the day.

I'm looking at getting one of those multi seat sit down arcade tables at some point. I do like the space that is saved with the small form factor hanging on the wall. I just feel it needs the Bulk of a real machine.

It should go back into attract mode even after you play a game, but it looks like someone rapped the credit button(s) while in-game and put 99 on there 😄 At least that's how mine works; When you hit the 1 or 2 player Start Game button, the credit(s) get added and then immediately subtracted as the game starts. But if you continue pressing them during a game, it keeps adding more credits and you'll never get it back down to 0 without resetting the game, and it'll just sit there with lots of credits on the start screen, waiting for you to start. A design flaw of the free-play system I suppose.

That Gravitar side art is seriously sweet. These wall mount units make the most sense for these 1UP units, don't make them more than they are. They are just for fun!

I was a teen in the 80's. My parents would take us 5 kids to the mall every 2-3 weeks. Drop us off. I would be at the arcade the entire time. Dragon's Lair, Street Fighter, various pinball machines, Centipede, Dig Dug.
