The trick to surviving is to get all the docks running quite early and take on as many ppl as possible. Get the strike busting ability for the end and stack up alot of coal and food. I managed to get all the upgrades done 2 days early and get a favorable survability rating

It's a game handled very well by the developers since the release, and I can easily recall my first ten hours of almost non-stop playing it with the atmosphere driving me on. I haven't gotten into this expansion yet but certainly will.

Well, I still had some food, were running out of wood for charcoal kilns, installed all upgrades for generator, but i manged to lost 50+ convivts, so i guess that wasn't the best tradeoff...

Goddamn this was a magnificent review. This guy is great at it. And yes, this is my Game of the Year. Sorry I only discovered it in 2020, but still Its fantastic and has overshadowed everything I played in the last 6 months.

This was, BY FAR, the best scenario of the game, and it's worth buying even JUST for this scenario, however it is strongly recommended to play the scenarios in order, because there are strong and critical references to the other scenarios.
Man I wish I could play this for the first time a second time.. :DDD

i like the base game alot does this dlc have also something for the base game or no ? Hope they make a third dlc with new mechanics and expand the base game too a bit

This looks awesome, I'm going to try it this weekend. But the biggest problem I've had with frostpunk so far is the endgame is horrible. You get to a point where there is nothing else to build/upgrade and your just grinding to get the 15 relics from the wasteland. The game shines greatly in the first few hours of the main campaign, but endless mode is just too bland. They need to add higher upgrades and more buildings, and colder storms maybe, just to push the game further along.
