I'll save you the time, you can't get the skins. You'll be finding unique weapon variants that have their own skins. The skins can't be transferred between weapons. Nbd though, im sure it'll be modders paridise in 2024 when official mod tools come out. Having a dedicated skin slot for every piece of gear will make it much easier for skin mods to be applied. Still a good informative video though! 👍

The good news is that "Skins" may be introduced later, but us modders will offer our re-textures for all weapons free. And once the Creation Kit 2 comes out we will be able to override their lockouts and make our own custom Skins.

"Ember" is a badass unique looking Solstice u get for going thru the Ryujin quest line.

you can also apply a skin to one of the laser weapons with the constellation pack, The equinox. It's something that I'm able to apply freely that has the colors of constellation.

secondly, the 2311 isn't a skin, it's a whole different gun that has titles and rarities. It's the same thing as a 1911 and a 2011 IRL. It's just the 2311.

The white equinox is the Juan mission crimson fleet, and the other way to get it is when you meet the doctor about the terrmaorph and get sent to the president on Atlantis

Damn, I was hoping to apply the Revenant's skin to my modified Legendary Magshear I created. BTW the old pistol is called 1911 hence the 2311 name. I agree the 2311 has such a better and more modern style.

I dont see microtransactions coming to the game as they support modding to it fullest as well. nothing will stop modders from just adding whatever skin they want into the game!

I found a grendal called the buzzard, the skin was all black. I forget where i picked it up though wish i could remember

The Equinox skin comes from playing the UC VANGUARD mission. You get it when the citizens go haywire on JEMISON in which you have to grab the EQUUINOX that's on the floor as Hadrain tells you to grab it, because there version has EM rounds so instead of killing innocent Civilians you only knock them out and Shot them until they're conscious and not going haywire again

Pretty bad video. Clickbait because they aren't skins. They are just Unique variants of Weapons and some aren't even anything special like the equinox without cover (just an attachment), the xm-2311 is just a regular gun and sir livingstone's pistol is a normal looking unique weapon.

05:34 that's not a skin, it comes from one of the weapon mods that has such vusual effect. It can be done on any equinox weapon, as for the actual skin you get constellation by default if you buy deluxe edition like i did.
