The 2002 its better because it was Automat with Vehicle Drive System and Vehicle Torque Distribution (electronic Differential Lock). The 2007 (my) ist manuel with center diff I'm not sure if this model has rear LSD.

Looks like they quickly cut away when the Subies got stuck or didn't make it all the way up the hill.  I know Subies are great cars and I own 2, but it's OK to sometimes show that they don't ALWAYS out-perform.
