This is the best recipe DONT ARGUE!

Recipe ingredients:

10 Roma tomatoes
1 bunch cilantro
2 limes
3 jalapeños
1 red onion
Salt and pepper

Try rinsing your onions in a strainer after chopping. That's what they do in Mexico to reduce bitterness/sulphur (what makes you cry)...

Going hard on the cilantro, I love it. Extra secrets here: a little vinegar (white, apple cider, basically any type) will add a nice kick to the flavour and help it last longer in the fridge (if you actually have leftovers of this)
Also: adding some lime juice to the onions before you put them in will help to soften the flavour, as the acid from the lime actually cooks the onion a little.

Don't cut the root off the onion. Cut the stem for a base, then cut the onion in half through the root, then dice it as you did here. The root holds the onion together better, then you toss it at the end

We use a tomato stem scoop to take out the jalapeño core out.

Red onion will go bitter faster leaving the pico (salsa Fresca) only good for 24-36 hrs. White or Spanish onion the salsa good for few days. I just found this out after years of using red and white for same reason it looks cool

Never knew this is the way to dice tomatoes 🍅🤦🏻‍♀️👩🏻‍🍳 the tomatoes juice would go everywhere on the cutting board and all wet in the container we use for the Pico. - Didn’t know to take out the tomato seeds. 🤦🏻‍♀️😅Thank You for remembering me about this important step.
