I love The Creation Museum and Ken Ham's Answers in Genesis Ministry!

I agree with you. I see that the creation museum has people living side by side with dinosaurs, and carnivorous dinosaurs eating plants, and other fallacies. Science doesn't need a trip to Disney.

I used to teach middle school science at a Christian school and have found two videos in particular to be especially fabulous resources. The first is the privileged planet which basically highlights how the earth is uniquely positioned and even designed to be perfect for scientific observation - ie God wants us to search for and discover his fingerprint. The second is the case for the creator which is like a video documentary of the Lee strobel book. It's part of the series I'm sure you're familiar with and outlines his search in the scientific arena for an intelligent designer. I could say a lot more but both are very well done!

Great Vlog, as usual! Interesting thoughts about the Creation Museum. On a different note, I just wanted to let you know that Fight for Together inspires me to spend more time with my family. There are some other family vlogs I watch and they just don't give me the same feeling or inspiration. Thanks for keeping it real, honest and full of truth. Keep up the good work!

I've never been to the Creation Museum before, but from what you showed us, your thoughts about it seemed right on. One thing it may help with is to see how others think and that can help us in relating to them where they are. Then God can guide us on where to go from there. It's God that changes your heart. You can't earn it, buy it, or achieve it by your own merits. As Christians, we may interpret the Bible a little differently, but I do believe there is one point, the one truth, that is nonnegotiable. It is the we are saved by God's grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ.

When I looked at the dinosaurs in this museum the first time I saw it, I was screaming internally "WHERE ARE THE FEATHERS?!?"

Oh, man, I don't think I would have been able to find as many positive things as you did about that museum. Haha. We don't need to make such an effort to convince people, if we are making it a point to show them God through our relationship with them, and how we serve them, right? Unrelated but important: can you share your waffle recipe with us? And also, do you use multiple waffle irons when making waffles for that many people? I loved the close up Kami gave us of Rainier's sweet face and think your youngest and oldest look so much alike!

Im a paleontologist and this is just a joke yes im religious im a roman catholic but watching this has changed my views on ancient life it was all created 6000 years ago omg never learnt this at my university where i spent 5 years studying my specialty hahaha some people are plain idiots to actually beleive this and dispute radiocarbon dating and fossil ages and dates now thats brainwashing i went to uni with a creationist why he was in the same field of study as me boggles my mind he was booted out of the course for his objection to everything we were studying some people

Preach it It's so damaging to the body of Christ when we pigeonhole what a true Christian looks like or thinks about a certain topic. When we do that...what we're really doing is judging each other...and that is (and cording to the Bible) a big no no.

Creation Museum? Might be better off saving your time and money and spending it on a basic high school education.

You make great points about the creation museum. I think it’s really good people with really good hearts - trying way too hard to convince rather than love. Propaganda is the right word. I watched the “debate” between Ken Hamm and Bill Nye the science guy and cringed through the whole thing. They toured through the museum and discussed the exhibits. It was just plain awful to watch on every level as each of them talked over one another.
