Directional airdodge upward as soon as you get off the ledge. When you re-grab it, you will have invincibility again. Fox/Greninja/Shulk can't do this as far as I am aware.

This happens because before you airdodge into a direction, you move a little in the opposite direction to where you intend to go, and if that little movement touches the ground, you every benefit of touching the ground, like regaining your jumps or ledge invincibility, but you don't actually land on the ground, and you continue your airdodge. I believe I learned about that in the Practical TAS video where he tests who can survive a buffered airdodge offstage, but I may be wrong

Can you do it form a ledge drop so you stay under the ledge the whole time? All examples shown where with jump. EDIT: Just tested it and no.

Was this patched out at some point ? Or maybe is there a timing thing ? I've tried with a bunch of characters including Lucas and never managed to get the invincibility back
