There's two types of Jayden's.
1. The quiet one who's actually pretty fun to talk to
2. This kind.
I refuse to believe there's any in between

Oh man, when I was in middle school a girl asked me out and I thought we were dating for like three days. I gave her this clay tablet painting I made in art class, and she told me it was a dare. I cried and cried. Lesson here, middle school children just kind of have a mean streak.

For those who are commenting about how you young boys should just "be nice", I would like to share a little insight as to why most of them do it.
It's not because they're weird or rude, it's not because they don't understand people.
It's a defence mechanism that comes with insecurities. And most people that age are insecure.
The thought process behind it is, if they play everything like a joke, and pretend to be tough and confident, no one will notice that they're actually really scared.
Its a similar vein to how people with depression often appear to be the happiest of the group.
If you act overly happy, no one will know that you're sad.
If you act overly confident, brash and rude, no one will know that you're terrified of being alone and ignored.

It's ultimately quite sad, and I feel for any kid that tries that, because I did. I tried to be loud, I took my friends stuff, I demanded attention at every turn because I was terrified of slipping into the background and not having anyone care, because I didn't know how to make real friends.
I wanted to be nice. I wanted to have friends that I could confide in, and that wanted to confide in me. I wanted to be liked, but at the time being noticed was good enough.

So it's a bit harder than asking them to just be nice. Because to kids like that, being genuinely nice means risking being ignored, overlooked or rejected. It means facing your worst fear. If you open yourself up to someone, pour your heart into telling them how you truly feel, and how much you care about them, romantic or platonic, and they turn you away? That's their worst nightmare.

Adolescence is a rough time.
Anxiety comes out differently in us all. This is just a very common and frustrating version, that most people thankfully grow out of.

(I do know that some kids are genuinely mean, but that's not the person being depicted in the video, so I'm not talking about kids that are just rude because it's fun or something.)

My best friend, we are in the same classes and he always shuts my Chromebook, takes my pencils and pens, and kicks me in the leg for fun and I kick him back and it’s a game. We also always talk memes and the teachers still let us sit next to each other but they always give us “the stare”.

When I have a crush, I just keep it to myself and silently suffer.

Remember guys, you can't get rejected if you don't confess.

(I’m in my last yr of middle school.) I rejected a guy and then he said “it was a dare.” Like yea right, he had a fat crush on my for the longest. He even lied that we were dating. Like he spread a rumor that we were dating, when we most definitely were NOT.💀

Dude I remember a kid who always bullied me asked me out and he got really offended when I said no. I don't know why middle school boys don't just try to be... _nice?_

This was literally the guy who used to sit next to me in middle school. He used to do ALL of these. I didnt know he must've had a crush on me though.

Do you know how the superior kids flirt? I stare at my crush from the darkest corner of the room until she feels our minds connected, turns around and because i quickly start to mind my own bussines and repeat that until someone tells my crush i like her or until i have enough energy to ask her out and get rejected

You can really see his awkwardness every time he realizes he did something he shouldn't have done
