Always amazed at the epic playing. But as well, it didn't matter if Virgil was playing Pearl or DW, he seems to get some of the best darn drum sounds I know. Another great sounding drummer as well playing Tama would be Simon Phillips. Would love to know how Virgil captures such amazing sounds from tuning, microphones, outboard gear, etc..
