For anybody buying- You'll probably see this mentioned, but be aware there are 30 and 40-pin versions of that screen. Also, it seemed like very few even mention the matte finish version, but it is out there. When I ordered my glossy, I asked, and the people said "Oh yeah, we have those.", so I switched. There are arguments for and against both types, but I mainly want to be able to read on it. The viewing angle seems tighter, but when you view from dead-on, it doesn't have the washed out look people gripe about.

Hey. My G50 has vertical lines along the middle of the screen. Should I replace the cable or the screen itself? I have tried clamping the flex cable at the bottom part of the middle section of the screen and worked for a few months before slowly deteriorating.
