I’m so glad at my job I work where I don’t have to interact with customers. It’s heaven.

As a wheelchair user, a massive thank you to the man who called out that woman who parked in the bay just for her convenience. Someone takes those spots all the damn time, but I NEED the extra space either side of the car to get out in my electric chair. Often all I am trying to do is live my life, but selfish people mean I have to wait for up to an hour or more until I can shop for groceries.

It ruins my whole day, screws up all my time set for errands. Its always the same, they say "I wasn't gone long" or "I'll just be a minute", when they could literally park a bit further away easily. I end up completely depressed and upset, because instead of just being able to get on with my day like normal, I am reminded YET AGAIN how different I am. That I can't just park up and walk into the shop like everyone else.

Also, physical activity hurts a LOT, just being outside is exhausting when you are wheelchair bound. Nothing comes easy. People walk into you, or in front of you. Or they treat you like you're an idiot, or a second class citizen. Everything hurts, and the longer I have to be out, the more exhausted I become.

It is a supremely selfish act to take up the disabled parking spaces. Why should I have to endure extra pain, and wait until you have gotten your sweets or whatever? Don't I have a right to shop, and get what I need to eat? People also stop at the only place on the kerb where the pavement dips down enough for me to get up in in my wheelchair.

Someone did that to me outside of a restaurant not long ago. It was literally the ONLY place for me to get up onto the pavement to go into the premises. But some ass decided to park there so he could get his take out. I was stuck outside, sitting in a car park with cars driving all around me, so he could get his pizza. There were literally spots RIGHT NEXT to where he parked. But he did not use them.

When he came out, instead of having the humility to apologise, he got mad at me because I was "too close" to his car, as I was still trying to get out of the way of the other cars. He tried to grab my wheelchair and push me out of the way. He nearly made me topple over. I snapped. So, I put multiple dents in his vehicle for him. I beat the crap out of it and broke a tail light, because I was utterly furious. I went completely ballistic, to the point where he got scared, did a 180° turn in his behaviour, and kept apologising, telling me to be quiet.

That only made me angrier, so I got louder, and made sure that everyone knew what type of person he was. He was utterly humiliated, but started yelling about calling the police. I told him "go ahead, you assaulted me, so they'll be very interested to find that out." He said he hadn't assaulted me, but, people do not realise this: our wheelchairs are part of us. They are basically our legs. It us an extremely rude act to grab the chair, as it is very close to me, you may as well be grabbing my arm. You are NOT allowed to touch someone's wheelchair without permission.

Of course I was completely pissed off by this time. I took his registration number, made sure I got his name, and reported him. He got fined for illegal parking, obstructing my movement, hate speech as he called me all sorts of vile names because I was disabled, (cripple, spaz, mongaloid and others), threatening me with violence and placing his hands on me without permission. All because he couldn't even have the decency to park in a parking bay literally ten feet away from him. His behaviour towards me also got him banned from the restaurant, he was not welcome in there any more. They were utterly disgusted with him.

The clip with the lady on the golf cart had me Rollin. Oh my kids probably would’ve behaved the same.” What did we dooooa” They definitely would’ve chased the cart laughing and sarcastically asking her not to call the police.

Hahaha she said she’s gonna have the pool closed. She’s gonna call the cops on kids that are clearly old enough to be home alone. Granny needs to be arrested

Sirs... You do not want that chicken now. 🤢 Trust me.

Why do people think that, 1. The employees have to identify themselves & 2. That corporate cares?

I hate when people stand in a parking spot to save it. Most annoying thing ever!

I don't know that it's worth calling the police over, but it really is technically illegal to try to hold a parking spot like that. It's first (actual vehicle) come, first serve

6:36 I think that the Karen made up the story about the kid having a sister.

Hmm…I’m actually on the “Karen’s” side of the one at 3:05. You DONT comment on someone’s look, homeless or not. If they are loitering… handle it as loitering, not because of how someone looks. I don’t think the employee should have been fired but taken aside to get the story and reprimanded to see fit.

I’m a manager too and I would ask her to leave if it continued to get escalated.. but I wouldn’t just brush this woman’s comments away. Just me though probably.
