Water the Earth with Her Tears || Experimental Short

Mother Earth listens to our cries and soaks up our blood when it is spilled. She takes us back into her when our bodies are done. Our spirits, though, continue on to meet new worlds beyond this one. Born again. Yet our mother remains. Always giving life to the next generations. Yet, her caretakers are being destroyed; why? Why must we suffer like this? Why?

The Indigenous people of Turtle Island have been subjected to countless atrocities, genocide, and imposed hardship after hardship. Many warriors have fought and given their all to protect our ancestral heritage and cultural lifeways. A fight that still continues into today.

The words spoken in this film belong to the legendary Russell Means in 1989 when he harshly criticized the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian leadership of reservations.

Russell was an Oglala Sioux activist for the rights of American Indian people. He became a prominent member of the American Indian Movement (AIM) after joining the organization in 1968 and helped organize notable events that attracted national and international media coverage. One-of-a-kind warrior, RIP November 10, 1939 -- October 22, 2012.

Prompt:
FTV 313 - FILM 2 - Found Footage
Using found footage, construct a 60-second experimental film.
We are bombarded with moving images throughout our day; on our phones, at gas station kiosks, and while shopping. The news presents excessive amounts of content to us, both accurate and false. Media sells us our lifestyles through moving imagery at every turn. How can we take pre-existing content and show what exists beyond the surface of it? Create a found-footage film that is transgressive and/or radical. How can you subvert the reading of footage that you find, and change it so that the meaning is different? You must use found footage AND sound for this film.

I am psychic and I have been predicting the year 2024 to be the beginning of the end of days. I am so freaking happy. After all these people decide to transition we will be the ones to rebuild. I am ready to fix mother Gaia and get her back on track. Let the Exodus begin❤

The American Indian Religious Freedom Act of 1978 (AIRFA) (42 U.S.C. § 1996.) protects the rights of Native Americans to exercise their traditional religions by ensuring access to sites, use and possession of sacred objects, and the freedom to worship through ceremonials and traditional rites.

Nothing to do with this post. Just want to thank you and your brother for deepening my interest in Native Culture and lore. I want to learn and become a hunter. I may be non religious but open to many. Too be honest every thing I kinda believe in everything dark. But I need to believe in a light. I want to be my own fire in the dark.

Just a thought I've been reading The Articles of Confederation and The Navajo Treaty of 1868 which we know the gov broke that but when you read and research them it gets very interesting.

Recentlly me and a close friend have been feeling ike we are being watched by some dark entity. Just yesterday I felt like there was some sort of black, human person shaped thing peeking its head at the door way of my kitchen as i was cooking. They found scratches on their back and arms. Only them. And I just had a dream and woke up terrified as it seems i was nearly possesed. Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves? Also, we don't mess with ouija boards or anything of the sort. Nor do we consume substances.
