Cervical cancer can be treated base on the stage of the tumour. If the tumour is in the very early stages it can be treated by surgeries. Surgery can be uterus preservation surgery where we remove only the cervix preventing the uterus specially in young females an in those females where uterus preservation is not necessary. We do a surgery call Radical hysterectomy where we remove the uterus cervix as well as the ovaries along with some ad joining tissues and lymph nodes. So, this can be done open laparoscopy as well as robotic technique.
