In today's video, the conclusion to my Gansu food adventures, I visited the famous Shazhou night market in Dunhuang, during a SANDSTORM! Honestly I thought I'd be the only one there, but it was soooooo busy.

Can we just appreciate how much effort and hard work Amy puts into her videos? Thanks for showing us a side of China we otherwise would never get to see!

8:02 Wait a minute! Don't you guys realize how brilliant Amy's Chinese is? I mean not just her speaking ability but her ability to recognize Chinese scripts! Even the traditional ones.👍👍👍

I'll never visit China the way you are doing it so I am so so grateful to your channel for showing us all these places. I'd love to see you feature more local fruit and veggies. In the west, we know maybe 5-6 chinese greens but I am sure there are loads more.

Everytime you say "Let me know if you want to see..." - of course we want, that's why we're here! 😀

i LOVE the fact that everywhere is in the same time zone.. it is just SO MUCH EASIER!! no need to adjust time twice a year and risk being early or being late..

as always, great video!

The "apricot" you had in Lanzhou absolutely was a plum-apricot hybrid, often called a pluot or a plumcot. The one you had in Dunhuang is for sure an apricot. Apricot is the typical orange skin, orange flesh. Plumcot/pluot's flesh is much more like a plum and will range from opaque to yellow-ish with shiny smooth skin, sometimes with a powdery wild yeast coat. I just don't think us chinese know how to name hybrid fruit, so we just go with the closest thing.

"This boy is filming me with his watch, 這個有相機嗎? Yes。 Oh, your English is really good." Amy, you have become one of them. He just said "yes".
