Almost 10 million Americans are still waiting for their tax refund. With new updates to the IRS's website, it may be easier to find out the status of your refund.

The IRS is quick to take your money but to pay out the employees just do nothing and make excuses to stay home. We need to fire the old and hire new employees. All the IRS and government does it take and when its time to give back they blame covid or make other excuses. I sent my taxes off in March, I'm still waiting for a refund

Filed in March electronically and Got the papers in the mail 4 month's later.. something about about a signature needing correction took it back to my accountant signed the damn name on the line and here I am September nothing... God on and nothing shows up on that stupid website other than we have no record BS...

What if someone prepared their own paper return? I haven't received 2020 and 2021and, I didn't receive not one stimulus check.

62yr old on a $645 / month income has been waiting on fed tax return for over 6 months. Efiled. Accepted....then told to check once per day. Nothing wrong with my return. Advocate stated there isn't enough employees. My daughter got her return in March. I'm still waiting!

I have no idea what the 'Where's my Refund' tool is for? It only seems to work if they have received and opened it - in which case your check is probably on the way. If they have received it but not opened it, it tells you nothing. Since most of us were probably just trying to confirm that they had received the d--n thing, this tool seems ineffective to the point of, well, pointlessness.

I filed on 8 February 2022; started checking the "Where's my Refund' site every Monday starting in late May including this past Monday (11 July 2022), and never got any information as to whether they even had it. I got my refund today (14 July 2022) which makes me feel as though my check of the "Where's my Refund" site should have worked at least on that most recent date.

They should have issued a widespread news release that, due to processing issues, folk should not be concerned about incredibly late returns as some folk, feeling that their returns had not been received, may have hit the panic button and re-filed.

i filled electronically on feb 7th still says being processed . i have never had a problem usually you get it two weeks later but this year its june now and still says processing i guarantee if you owed them they would demand it now but them owing you they seem to not give a shit. you cant even call any one. the irs will not give you a person to talk to.
