Something that media could use more of. Wesley Snipes is a total gangster, and I wish his outstandingly badass portrayal of Blade received more love. It is impossible to imagine anyone else doing the role with the same sublime mixture of suave and coolness without coming off as a total try-hard. Maybe they will pull it off, but considering his outstanding performance was so exceptionally goddamn good, that it redefined this Character, my hopes for a suitable replacement are rather low.

And this right here is where I think they were "frustrated" with Snipes while working on the film his input on this franchise changed the outlook on Blade completely he made a character that was cool into a badass and his influence is still present today

Blade 1 was outstanding, Blade 2 was nothing short of incredible, while Blade 3 was "meh". I wholeheartedly concur with the sentiment that Wesley Snipes' portrayal transformed Blade into an iconic character, much like Robert Downey Jr. did for Iron Man.
