Cassie Cadet and Samara Landais are 11th grade students at St. Saviour High School in New York City.

On Wednesday, May 24th, NY Sun Works hosted our 12th Annual Discovering Sustainability Science Youth Conference! Almost 1000 students and teachers from our 250 partner schools in NYC and the metro area came together in person at the Javits Center to share their independent science and environmental research and celebrate their scientific achievements. This event brought together K-12th grade students, educators, scientists, and innovators to explore the interaction between human behavior, the use of technology, and the impacts on the environment.
