This will help any privateer trying to make it in supercross. This will literally blow factory bikes out of the water with very low maintenance. I love this because its equal opportunity for everyone!

It’s all gravy until the company goes out of business and you need a firmware update for a safety recall and replacement parts that no longer exist. Ask me how I know!

Don’t worry Johnny. The fumes will be in the pits as the generators charge the bikes, UTVs, and trucks!!

I'm all for E-bikes. Am I gonna miss the sounds and vibrations, yes. But, they are the future and I have accepted that. The only issue I see is the charge time. With a combustion engine, 30 seconds and you're gassed up and ready to With electric, you're waiting hours to charge and ride again. Eventually the technology will get there and the same goes with on-road vehicles as well. Either way, the more companies producing bikes, the better.

I would like it just for the fact that you could ride anywhere without pissing anyone off without noise.

I ordered a gray one in 80hp config with 18" Enduro rear wheel and a side stand. We have two Surron X for the last two years, but suspension isn't plush enough after a 35 mile trail ride. I have been trying to be patient, for two years, waiting for the Surron Storm, but now...Stark Varg. I'll only use this for trail riding like I do my Surron, ICE bikes and ATVs. Would have bought a KTM Freeride by now but the 20 mile range and 3.9 kWh battery is too small. The Varg has 6kWh battery (Alta was 5.8kWh I think). My order has estimated fulfillment date of 9/24/2022 (though I expect that to stretch out into 2023, which I'm fine with). I normally don't like to be the Guinea pig, but just too anxious for a fullsize EV dirtbike so I'm willing to take a chance on this.

Separate e-bike racing would be awesome. More racing to watch on the weekend 😀👍

I’m ready for the ebike era and jealous of all the kids that will get to grow up with them, being able to rip on any field on any given day. There will still be a place for any piston engine bike at the house, just like there’s still been a place for 2 smokers as 4 strokes have taken over

This is my own personal opinion but I truly believe there’s going to be so much big money thrown at getting in the way of this natural progression, that even though it may not stop it… It will definitely slow the process down. Like Johnny said the big manufacturers and aftermarkets aren’t just going to roll over. Full disclosure personally not a fan at all I think it will hurt the spectator experience more than it will help the sport but what the hell do I know…

Johnny, I understand it's "the future", but I guess I just love the sound of mini explosions making horsepower. I am all for innovation, and I have no problem with this becoming a segment of the SX/MX world. What I hate is when tech is legislated and politicized. Why is it so evil to continue to innovate and make the internal combustion engine better, AND make new tech, aka batteries, and let them coexist and collectively carry the sport in to the future?

If this bike was allowed to race with the 450s, and won, all of the major manufacturers would create their own electronic motorcycle, at breakneck speed

Make 400 and be ready to market this bike. Then AMA rule will be met and it should be good to go.!!!!
Want to see Josh race it!!

I think they should add E- bike class. As that evolves they can remove the gas bikes. I wouldn't want to do what they did with 4 strokes in with 2 strokes. If any old guys are around they got rid of the 500cc class. Do it the same way.

I'm all for E-bikes. Options are never bad...except for the indecisive.

So what I got to bring a goddamn generator to charge my bike up in between Moto‘s. Yeah that makes sense, burn more fuel to charge a battery.

It’s all going they way as this year all the major bike companies made an agreement to make the same battery so they fit all bikes👍🏼

Remember when 4 strokes were on the back burner and had their own class on the outdoor nationals??? Now they dominate all classes. That's what seems to be the natural path the e-bikes should take to prove themselves... then take over.
