People can say what ever they want about Anselmo, but he has one of the best metal voice of all time.

My favorite thing about Pantera is when everyone went mellow, melodic, they went even harder and heavier!

Sixty eight
Into the world born
Seventies
A breath after the war
Life was confusing because of my age
Should my eyes open for tomorrow's gains?

I can't help the way I am
There's no trust and there's no end
What is my name?

It will never change
So here it stays
Forever is my name

From now on
Can't look the other way
Keep in mind
And listen to what I say
Take under wing all the ones who are lost
Build up around them an infinite wall

Don't you know just who I am?
Take the hand of wisdom's friend
What is my name?

It's time to change
It can't stay the same
Revolution is my name
It will never change
So here it stays
Forever is my name

What is my name?
What is my name?
What is my name?
What is my name?

What is my name?
What is my name?
What is my name?
What is my name?

It's time to change
It can't stay the same
Revolution is my name

It will never change
So here it stays
Forever is my name

Pantera's music is TRUE art. Why? Because Pantera NEVER gets old. Any time, place, or mood, their music never fails the listener. Thank you God for giving us this band.

Rex is a very underrated bass player. If you listen to any of Panteras albums he’s got a killer groove 😎

Dimebag was the hendrix of our generation and a gift from the metal gods. The guitar was an extension of his soul. Most people just play their instruments, he became it.

These ppl were meant to be a band. All of them are incredible. Obviously Phil's voice with Vinnies incredible tempo and timing are magic. Then Rex bass lines are rad then the monster dimes riffs will impregnate all in a 20 radius.

Metal needs more of this today. It's all about who can play more technical or heavy. Its not about the connection between the fans and a common mentality. The energy. These guys had the passion, energy, groove and emotion pouring out of them. RIP PANTERA

Can we acknowledge that Rex Brown never got enough recognition as a member of Pantera?

For me these guys have always been the definition of metal.
