Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Review

For 2021, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung’s 3rd gen folding phone that turns into a 7.6” tablet becomes slightly more affordable and significantly more durable. The Fold 3’s inner display is 80% stronger according to Samsung and 29% brighter while the 6.2” outer display runs at 120Hz like the inner display. It runs Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on the Snapdragon 888 CPU in all markets. It’s now IPX8 water resistant, and it supports the Fold version of the S Pen (Wacom EMR) to win over Galaxy Note fans, avid note takers and artists. The phone has 5G including mmWave and is sold unlocked and by all major carriers. It has 5 cameras including an under-display camera for selfies.

I watched 4 different Z Flip 3 review videos on YT before I found this one by MTR. Every time I watch a piece of Lisa’s content that is comparable to that of other channels, I learn something about the hardware that the other channels either missed or chose not to include. Right on point with the battery metrics. It takes a while before Android adjusts for your daily usage. Other reviewers should learn from this.

Just got my Fold 3 today and I am absolutely loving it. Once Samsung integrates the S Pen, add expandable storage or offer a 1TB model, beef the cameras, make it dust resistant, bigger battery and maybe widen the outside screen a little (which would make the inside screen larger as well), the Z Fold 4 or 5 could be the phone of all phones. Overall though, it's a solid piece of tech. What a time to be alive.

Lisa, I finally spent the money and got this phone. I have had Samsunbgs since the Blackjack II. This is the perfect phone for a Facilities Manager/ It geek. I have a BS in MIS and this works great for Remote PC. Large learning curve but overall. The pen should be in soon. Currently, use a Capacitance pen. The keyboard on the front panel is a little small but usable once you slow down and or use a pen. I watched this video 6 times before spending 1800 bucks. I feel this will have me in many steps running back to the office and loading up a laptop after hours. I watch Flossy Carter but he is not as smooth as you. Continued success
