The members of the Fabian Society, Graham Wallas, Beatrice Webb, and Sydney Webb, created the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an open research institution. The university, which was founded in 1895 and worked with the London University to establish its first-degree programme, debuted in 1901. Later in 2008, LSE granted the students its own degrees. The main emphasis is on creating original theories and concepts for study.

LSE keeps a comprehensive list of its alumni. Some of them are Jomo Kenyatta, the president of Kenya, Pierre Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, Lea Kuan Yew, the prime minister of Singapore, Amartya Sen, the Nobel Prize-winning economist, Karl Popper, a reader of logic, Heinrich Bruning, the chancellor of Germany, Tony Fernandes, the executive officer of AirAsia, Kamisese Mara, the prime minister of Fiji, Oscar Arias, the president (Billionaire).

One of LSE's most notable graduates is Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, who received his MA and Ph.D. there. Dr. Ambedkar was the principal architect of the Indian Constitution as well as a Social Reformer, Economist, Parliamentarian, a leading Jurist, and highly respected political leader. The Problem of the Rupee: Its Origin and Its Solution, his PhD dissertation on "The Indian Rupee," was published when it was completed in 1922-23. His approach to sociopolitical issues garners respect from people of all political factions. His actions have had an impact on a variety of aspects of life and have transformed the way in which India approaches socioeconomic policies, education, and affirmative action by utilizing socioeconomic and legal incentives. In a survey that was organized in 2012 by History TV18 and CNN IBN, Ambedkar was chosen as "the Greatest Indian". In 1990, he was posthumously awarded the highest civilian award in India, the "Bharat Ratna" in recognition of his significant and lasting contributions to the nation and society. I study in Mar ivanios college. The college is definitely well known in South India but idk, if that will matter there because its not as huge as JNU and such. The course is Analytical Economics. I took quant as one of my optional papers. I have an average percentage of 90. Or a GPA of around 3.8. I've done one internship as of now. I plan to take a gap year and do more internships and build my profile. Do I have a chance of getting into LSE? It's my dream school. I even took math because I wanted to go there.
