Mentorship Benefits to Mentors

In this recorded talk for the virtual International Anesthesia Research Society 2022 meeting, I discuss mentorship benefits to mentors as part of a panel entitled "Making Mentorship Work." Now, if you are only thinking about becoming a mentor because of the potential benefits, mentoring is not for you. However, good mentoring relationships are bi-directional with benefits to both the mentee and mentor. In addition, the organization benefits as well. I present a summary of the literature along with some personal examples from my career.
