Duct Tape Freddy sounds like a FNAF AR variant.

A duct tape pattern being called an 'ancient technique' is absolutely sending me.

Y’all remember when Mythbusters made a boat out of duct tape?

I worked at an Amazon centre for a while. One of the orders I got was:
- sex swing
- laxatives
- butt plugs
- rubber tubing
- duct tape
- larger than life “toy”

Fursuit makers order way more duct tape than that, you’re probably fine.

Fursuit makers use this technique to create custom fursuits, it's a common practice in the community. Just one side of the head needs to be taped if it's symmetrical to save on materials!

I think it will either assume you work in a warehouse, a postal service or are really into BDSM

That’s a lot of duct tape and cling wrap! I know it’s going to look great 👍

At this point i think i've seen this technique being used to make everything: dresses, corsets, armour, fursuits, boots, tights, gloves, fnaf cosplays, etc

Fursuit makers looking at him using a technique that is used every time to make fursuits. Bro is calling it ancient 💀

Heya fursuit maker here. If it's a symmetrical base, you can just tape up one half and flip the pattern! It's very useful when you wanna save material for patterning other stuff!

As someone who worked in an Amazon warehouse several times before- I can tell you that first couple weeks we might look at the things coming down the conveyor as were pallet stacking but ultimately (in my experience) we mostly just mind our own business other than that. Typically just trying to find a groove to get into so the work flow is steady cause those damn conveyors get backed up and jammed really easily and REALLY fast if we aren’t clearing them fast enough. After a while we don’t even pay attention to anything that comes down those rollers unless it’s stupidly heavy.

I bought a grappling hook, a spartan helmet (the greek hoplite not halo) a grenade keychain and a led lantern, they probably think there's a spartan running around scaling buildings at night 😂

A lot of fursuit makers use this technique; it seems to work really well. Can’t wait to see the final product!

Edit: I think I started a lil comment war-

Fursuit makers do this to have a model of the customer without needing to kidnap the customer and trap them in a closet

As someone who has worked in a fulfillment center, if that order came through my packing station my only thought would be, "huh, I wonder if they are making their own dress form or something...." As I packed it all up in probably the worst sized box because never trust the system to put it in the proper size.

Trust me, I've seen worse.

Fursuit maker here; Apply a thin layer of hotglue around areas like divots and hard edges, it gives the cling wrap something to stick to so you get a more flush fit.
