In 1993 Chick Corea unveiled the brand new incarnation of the Elektric Band. With the brand new lineup of guitarist Mike Miller, bassist Jimmy Earl, drummer Gary Novak, and saxophonist Eric Marienthtal (the lone holder over from the previous iteration of the Elektric Band), Chick approached this ambitious outing in the same way he had done everything throughout his career - by pushing the boundaries of what modern jazz is.

Was already a fan of the entire first electrik band, and this album in my opinion kept the bar high. RIP Mr Corea. Def made my reason for being a musician expand. This album and Eye of the Beholder never gets old.
