MedSafety Scan - An Introduction

MedSafety Scan® (MSS), developed by scientists at the Arizona Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics (AZCERT), is a platform for therapeutic decision support that incorporates the QTdrugs database from the CredibleMeds website with risk factor analysis and reliable drug-drug interaction predictions to identify patients at greatest risk of major adverse drug events. MSS is built on expert manual curation of QT-risk and drug-drug interaction data to deliver accurate therapeutic risk assessment with fewer false positives or perceived irrelevant information that can overwhelm prescribers due to alert fatigue.
