VLOGMAS DAY 23| Thrift Haul, Decorating & Festive Baking! #vlogmas2024 #thrifthaul

Pecan Tassies
1 1/2 cup chop pecans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pillsbury pie crust

Mix all your ingredients. Roll out and cut pie crust into small pieces to fit in mini muffin pan. Fill pie crust with mixture but don’t overfill.
Bake on 325 for 20 minutes are until golden brown.

Rolo Pretzel Delights:

Lay pretzels on a cookie sheet (small pretzels)
Top each pretzel with a Rolo candy and bak in the oven at 250 for 3-5 minutes
Press pecan half onto the Rolo candy, let cool, and be delighted!

On my, the vintage tree was a steal for sure! I love the way you styled the basket & urn on the front porch. Between hubby in cardio rehab & me in physical therapy, I don't think I will get much baking in. It's ok, Christmas is coming even if I don't have cookies & fudge..LOL.

Girl you got a steal on that ceramic tree! Hobby lobby sells the replacement bulbs as well. They are usually located with the miniature dollhouse parts. Also I buy the tall cylinder led bulbs from Lowes to use in all of mine. That way I don’t have to worry about them getting so hot from the traditional bulb. Love that snowman too!

What great thrift finds—I love the way you styled them. Your baked goodies look so delicious!!! I’ve had so much repair work going on here that I haven’t made any baked goodies this year—I may bake a few cookies tomorrow. So glad James went back in that store to buy the second ham!!! Baked ham is one of our favorite things to eat at this house!!!

I cooked a southern red velvet cake yesterday and so tasty. It’s been many years since I made one.

Donna, l am going to blow your mind!!! I got that same tree from the Children’s Manson thrift store in North Mississippi for .75 cents! It was in 1996!!! I put it out every year at Christmas. I know it sounds unbelievable but it is true!!! I found so many great items back then! Of course that store is long done!

I can't believe the great stuff you found! That Christmas tree is really nice. I hope that when I donate stuff people get as much joy in the find as you do :) Me? I never have that kind of luck, but probably just a location problem. Love the Turtle treats but will have to try the Pecan Tassies. Your porch looks great too. Hello again sweet friend! I'm finally caught up!!😁 Such a beautiful beginning to a video.. AND the most beautiful reindeer of all!😊 We had a really chilly morning this morning.. but now Its 74°🫤 Better than the days of 80's last week!🤷‍♀️ Those pieces do look cute in the chair on the porch! Oh I love Nicole, love to watch her decorate! She has A great collection of things too! I've to made the pretzel, rolo & pecan candy several times, but its been years. I don't know why because i love them, i love the combo of chocolate, caramel & nuts!😋 We made cookies for Santa with the kids last night. We did M&M cookies, Hershey kiss cookies & sugar cookies with all the sprinkles & colored sugar. We sat that out with milk & carrots for the reindeer.. and Santa didn't leave a crumb😉 Well hello to Mr Sunshine!! Hahaha.. love the T-shirt you got James, perfect!😂 Girl my parents had an old white station wagon with wood grain side panels when i was little.. And the inside was red😄 I always rode in the back and sang to the top of my lungs!😂 (but no sparky tag😁) I need to go to Lowe's! I'm excited to see the sheep lamp finished up..I know I'm going to be obsessed! Wow that's kind of weird with the ham's??😳 What in the world?!🤷‍♀️ Ohh yes i knew the thrifting streak was still hot!!!🔥 The metal planter is really cool.. girl don't dare paint it, its awesome as is!! Yes girl the wreath is gorgeous & awesome price!😮 The tiny trees look like real cedar, so cute! Love the brass planter, another great piece! Ohh the small brass piece with the handle is beautiful!❤ The snowman is so cute!⛄ OMMMGG! You seriously found a vintage ceramic tree!! And practically stole it!😮 Uhh i want one so bad! The price of the ones I've seen is what's stopped me from having one.. I'm just patiently waiting for my awesome deal to come along! Just like it did with my old vintage bird cage!😊Free is always the best deal!😉 You had another great haul! This streak has been a good one for sure! OK..i like the basket added to the chair on the front porch! I do agree, the present needs a red bow so I'll stand out a little. I say keep the tv too. And the snowman leave it in the front bathroom unless The Mama wants it. The wreath looks great, just needs the lights. And the front porch now looks beautiful! Present in the basket with the little cedar tree and the lantern beside it. Perfection!♥️ The present would look good with the bow painted red. Merry Christmas!
