A lot of bots here. I've been playing since beta and the borrowed powers is starting to wear thin. Next season boss powers, next season horadric powers, and the next season chaos powers. I am one of the fans that tries to remain positive, but I'm not enthused.

Good god that might be the most depressing roadmap I've ever seen. MORE "seasonal power" crap for the foreseeable future? Nothing unique or interesting?? This will mean almost every season will have been nearly identical since S2. They promised bigger and better seasons than we ever saw in D3. So far we havent even hit the heights of Ethereals or the Altar; much less superseded them.

I really want D4 to succeed, but I'm not buying another expansion on the promise that "no no this time seasons won't be the same boring garbage"

I've played since launch and that roadmap has confirmed I'm done until they figure out what to do with the game. Borrowed powers has been done to death. The fact they have earnable pets as a highlight tells me all I need to know 😂 this is wow for ARPGs

God, I HATE how every game is turned into a crossover medium. I love Diablo for being Diablo.

Adding other properties to a game destroys it's creative integrity - it turns iconic franchises into generic mish-mash. It happened to MTG, it happened to CoD - these games stop having their own identity.

Warhammer doesn't do crossovers and it's doing great!
Crossovers are the symptom of uncreative hacks, of greedy shortsighted executives who don't know how to properly manage their own brands.

Powers... I found the witch powers grind to be boring. I can't imagine, how stale the powers grind will be for the next three seasons

An entire year of "powers" as the theme of every season is kind of upsetting. I wish they'd take risks and explore other options.

People really liked it in S2, but I don't think anyone thought that would be the plan every season going forward.

This speaks a lot to how Diablo 4 was developed. They had no idea where they wanted to go with D4 they just wanted us to buy the game then they’d figure it out.

The earnable pet is all I needed to see. Looks like season 7 was my last one. They are going to keep regurgitating powers from season to season.
