For everyone thinking it is 3.7

The reason why it is 3.8 not 3.7
Take 3.75, (3.75)^3-5(3.75)=33.984375
This is still below 34 meaning the correct answer is greater than 3.75
In which case you would round up to 3.8

Its not asking for whats 'closest'
Its asking you to find the answer then give it to 1 dp
So if you find out the answer is above 3.75 and you give it to 1 dp you round up

James .... That's really silly because 125 /200 was a the mark to get an A & I doubt they'll increase it entirely this year, so I believe that mark should be around an A

There's a mistake on question Question 4. The answers are 0.09 and 0.36 because 0.09+0.36 = 0.45

I've seen what they've done now; 72960g = 72.96kg not 7.296 kg, meaning that, as I thought, they are a factor of 10 out, and I was right.

I destroyed this paper. Only marks I dropped were making an incorrect statement for the car depreciation, even though I worked out the value correctly. God knows why I said "yes". And dropped a couple of marks with the algebraic fractions as I didn't get the final answers shown here, but I did get them half right with factorisation etc.

I'm afriad if you add up 0.4, 0.09, 0.35 and 0.15 you only get 0.99. It's actually 0.36, not 0.35.

for question 24 I factorised the denominator as
(-3x^2 - 4)(-x+3) wouldn't it technically be the same as it still works.

I think Q5 (probability) is wrong because when u add em all up they don't add up to 0.99

that is not fair they always pick on our year our paper last year was extremely hard if we had this paper I would have guaranteed got an A
