She did see Sauron she said the person was standing right there next to them, not a balrog!

I don't think Disa sees the balrog, I think she sees the Watcher from the pool outside the door.
I think the elf girl is seeing Sauron in his true form, not a balrog.

Sauron was Morgoth's chief lieutenant, his second-in-command. The leader of the Balrogs, Gothmog, was Morgoth's captain-at-arms. The Balrogs were used frequently in direct combat, but there's no reason to believe they were more powerful than Sauron.

I'm not convinced that Mirdania saw the Balrog while she was in the unseen world. It seems more likely she witnessed Sauron's true form, which might explain her comment, "I think he has been here among us all along".

Remember Gilgalad only sends Elrond with a small force… he arrived to a destroyed erigion and celebrimbor dead… he was forced to retreat and that’s how he found his realm the hidden valley of Imladris… the dwarves attacked the orca from the rear which gave the the chance for Elrond to retreat…. Gilgalad was not going to get there in time but the numenorians arrived to destroy and captured Sauron

Mirdania doesn‘t see the Balrog, but Sauron’s true form! In the unseen world, you see how things are, not how they appear! Which is why Frodo sees the true form of the 9, and not their physical appearance as hooded riders
