#BasicallScissorHaircut #HowtogiveaBasicallScissorHaircut

Tuesday Tutorial brought to you by a horrible life decision to do this cut the morning of the first day back to school. Not sure why I thought that was a good idea but I was he$$ bent on giving him a fresh cut for school and around our house a haircut can't go un-fillmed.

It's not a secret that I love myself a good shaggy haircut in the summer but I also fully believe that one can have a manicured shaggy cut.

Check out this #allscissorcut and learn more about bangs, texturing, combing the hair, and keeping the outline of the hair in control.

Spread the love if this tutorial has helped you by pressing that arrow and sharing it or saving it for later when it's haircut day at your house. Thanks for watching!!

I love the eye roll and sigh when you say you’re going to blow dry it real quick😂 I have 3 boys I see that look all the time.

I have to tell you… my son has had to have facial surgeries and it’s left him with some sensory issues. He’s 2.5 yrs old and we’ve had so many haircut attempts that have left everyone in our family in tears. We’ve tried going to a salon, having someone come to our home, outside, inside, tv, treats, etc. Well, I think our boy is growing/developing just enough… so with the help of your tutorial, I successfully cut his hair today and it looks soooo good! I couldn’t believe how much your techniques helped me! Thank you! It feels like a day of redemption!

Oh goodness, thank you for this. I have two boys, both who have hair that I prefer is not super short. My 15 year old son just doesn't look good with those close-cropped clipper cuts but every barber wants to use clippers on him. This shaggy look is perfect.

Thank you!! This is a brilliant video—I love the kiddo’s silent sigh when you mention blow drying and product for the style!🤣 Just like my own boy!! He dislikes barbers and so requests me—not a hair stylist— to cut his hair!! BEST video out there!! We appreciate you very much! Cheers!

Wow. This is literally the best and most straightforward tutorial I've seen, and I've been searching and watching for boys' scissor cutting techniques on and off for months! I'm interested in knowing how to cut around the ears. Did I miss a video?

I always come back to your videos because most videos out there take hours and with kids the time its limited for them to sit still. Thank you again.

I graduated cosmetology school in 2017 and this is the best tutorial I’ve ever had. You made it simple and really clear

I followed this and my son's hair came out so cute!!! He's horrified of clippers and I like to keep his hair a little longer anyways so this was perfect. I never see cuts like this on YouTube so thank you!!

Thank you!! My little 2 year old’s hair looks so cute, and I love that I was able to do this at home. This was my first attempt at ever cutting his hair myself, and I will come back to this video every time now.

I've been looking for a cut to do on hair that is very straight--that won't stick up at all (and falls flat on his forehead--even with product). Is this a good cut? If not, what would you recommend?

My 2 year old has long thick wavey/curly locks .. will i still be able to use this haircut? And does the top mohawk have to be 1-2inches no matter where the parting is? Thank you

Your explanation is the best I have seen on these haircut videos, thank you! I have been cutting my own hair for years and I definitely just learned something new
Also, your kids boredom expressions are hilarious.
Keep it up!

Two notes:
1) do not get hair ‘very wet’ - the video says to do it but with darker hair this makes it almost impossible to see the ends of it.
2) don’t use this method if your child has thin fine/medium hair. One of my boys is thicker and the other has thinner. Thin wet hair= impossible to cut like this.

This was the hardest one I’ve ever done. I’ve done boys cuts now for two years. This was harder than my very first one. My hands cramped up, every time my littlest moved the cut would go wrong. We ended up much shorter than intended because when I was ‘done’ we had to go back over to fix it.
Dry hair, point cuts, standing up & eyeballing it - sooo much easier than this was.
