Just purchased a car with that system, not properly installed, checked your video, reconnected the antenna to the right wire, and it now works. Got to figure the other features in it.

I'm about to have to troubleshoot my Kenwood radio not powering on in my 2015 Jetta. This answered all of my questions about physical removal, and what to expect in the back. Thanks!

If I buy the same unit can install it using the original USB (and still have car play) port right in front of the shifter or do I have run a new USB like you ran the two? Also, do I have to buy a steering wheel controller and a backup camera adapter separately or does it come all in one? One last thing, If I never use the AM or FM radios do you still need to buy the adapter shit?

On the original unit you said the double white plug was the antenna and the yellow one you think was for the USB. Mine has a green one and a blue one also. Any idea what those are?

I dont understand how this maintains the factory USB port? What if you dont maintain the factory USB port? How do you get apple car play for a wired unit?

Great video! Is there any way you could provide the P/N for the crimped on connector that is on the blue wire of the antennas adapter? I already have an adapter that I plan on using with your harness and would like to install a connector on the blue wire so I can insert it as you have shown. Can’t figure out what pins (Molex/TE) that work with those ISO connectors.

One important question, after installing the new unit! How do you access the original car settings (fuel consumption, control the lock setting of the doors, lights, appointment & meter of the next car service, etc). How do you access it through the new unit you installed or it is not possible any more.

Great video!
Can you please advise, does Audio system installed support parking sensors information output on the screen?

Are you plugging in the stock microphone?

Hey, love your video, i have a 2009 MK5 Jetta with the original stereo, i'd like to replace it for the Pioneer MVH-G218BT. My car does have buttons on the steering wheel. Which one would you recommend? How can i buy it from Brazil? Thanks in advance!

Informative video. I just bought a 2018 Jetta and I'm interested in replacing the receiver. However, I understand that the OEM receiver controls things in the dash cluster. Specifically the clock, switching between ODO and Trips, etc. I assume this functionality is no longer available with a third party receiver? Also, if I don't replace the stock USB does that become unusable?

How would I go about doing something like this in a 2014 jetta trendline (sedan)? Want to add a backup cam, and replace the basic radio/music interface with a touchscreen with a decent ui
