Is there a part 2 video where we get to see you make the splint and an intro video showing how to choose the material and how to properly heat it? My OT made me one hand brace a few years ago. My hand never fully healed and I worry that one day this thing is going to break. I’d like to make some backups before that happens.

Do you think 3/32 is thick enough for splinting a metacarpal fracture?

Is there a way to heat sa thermoplast at home without the splint pan/stove? I have a spare of thermoplast my own and my mom needed a hand splint as she has CTS. Maybe I could monitor the temperature for the right heat level in heating the thermoplast. Will that be possible?
