I am definitely a Mood Reader. I set suggestion type TBRs, but this month (Novermber) I scrapped most all...and have reread the entire Harry Potter books and a few other rereads. I am rereading books...when I have MASSIVE amounts of books to read for the FIRST time. Ugh. But, we do what we have to do...to stay reading...and I felt like I needed to REREAD.

I try to have a book lined up for when I finish my current book, because if I don't decide what to read beforehand, I just kind of fall out of the habit of reading! I'm not very strict with it though :)

I actually can't really read without a TBR XD. When I don't make one, I just get overwhelmed by all the choices. I just really like balance in my reading. So different genres, formats and lengths each month.

*Project Hail Mary* is amazing. I loved it and it is my favourite book of the year so far. It is big, but it is a very quick read. I couldn't put it down. *If We Were Villains* on the other hand I did not like at all. Hope you have better luck with it than I did. :)
And I am hopeless with TBR's. I've given up on making any.

I’m very much a mood reader, but I’m in the mood to re read the Farseer trilogy, so my ambitious goal is to re read that, as well as finish re reading the Percy Jackson series. I’m doing NaNoWriMo, so I need the re reads 😂

You know I went to Rotterdam a few times when I lived in Holland back in the Nineties. I was a little younger than you back then. I had a great time there. I actually lived in Terneuzen for three years, where I learned to speak Zeeuws-Vlaanderen quite well. I'm not fluent in Dutch, but I speak enough to understand you, and hold a decent conversation. Gosh, I've dreamed of going back to Holland for many years. Maybe it will come true one day. I'd love to see your shop, or do a collab. You know I do narration on my channel. if I make a TBR, or even simply say "now I'm going to read this", I immediately feel trapped into my own decision, it stops being a fun hobby and it starts being a duty... and I KNOW I'm not going to read it...
I already have to read a lot of stuff for uni, I just want to be free when I read for pleasure!
