Σύμφωνα με αποκλειστική συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε ο Έλληνας πρωθυπουργός, Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, στην ειδησεογραφική ιστοσελίδα NIKKEI ASIA, στην οποία μίλησε για πολλά και διάφορα θέματα, όπως και για το ζήτημα της Ουκρανίας, δήλωσε ξεκάθαρα ότι η Ελλάδα δεν θα στείλει τεθωρακισμένα άρματα μάχης Leopard 2 στο Κίεβο.
Την είδηση αυτή αναμεταδίδει και η Ουκρανική Πράβντα και ας δούμε τι επακριβώς είπε ο Έλληνας πρωθυπουργός:
"Έχουμε παράσχει σημαντική στρατιωτική υποστήριξη στην Ουκρανία, [όπως] τεθωρακισμένα οχήματα μεταφοράς προσωπικού, αλλά δεν θα παράσχουμε άρματα μάχης Leopard 2, για τον απλούστατο λόγο ότι είναι απολύτως απαραίτητα, για την αμυντική μας θέση."
"Έχουμε κάνει επίσης σαφές ότι είμαστε πρόθυμοι να υποστηρίξουμε την Ουκρανία, αλλά όχι εις βάρος των αμυντικών μας δυνατοτήτων."
Κλείνοντας έτσι τον κύκλο όλης αυτής της πρόσφατης συζήτησης που έχει δημιουργηθεί τις τελευταίες ημέρες, στην Ελλάδα, για το αν η Ελλάδα θα στείλει ή όχι άρματα μάχης Leopard στην Ουκρανία.

According to an exclusive interview granted by the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to the news website NIKKEI ASIA, in which he spoke about many and various issues, including the Ukrainian one, he clearly stated that Greece will not send Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv.
This news is also relayed by the Ukrainian Pravda and let's see what exactly the Greek Prime Minister said:
"We have provided significant military support to Ukraine, [such as] armored personnel carriers, but we will not provide Leopard 2 tanks for the simple reason that they are absolutely necessary for our defense posture."
"We've also always made it very clear that we are willing to support Ukraine but not at the expense of our defense capabilities."
Thus terminating the recent discussion that has been occurred in the last few days, in Greece, about whether or not Greece will send Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
