In this new "Deep Dive" series, "Murder Rap" filmmaker and co-producer of "Unsolved" Mike Dorsey goes into the overlooked and under-explored aspects of the Tupac and Biggie murders. In the first episode, Dorsey investigates the "mysterious striped shirt" guy from the night of Biggie's death. While police originally highlighted a man wearing a bowtie as possible suspect that witnesses saw on the night of the shooting, multiple witnesses also described seeing a man in a striped shirt who seemed unwelcoming towards the Bad Boy crew. Check out the above episode to hear Dorsey explore the role the unidentified suspect may have played in Biggie's murder.

Partying near DeathRow head quarters a few months after 2pac was killed was not very smart. Especially when some people in LA felt Bad Boy had dealings with Orlando Baby Lane Anderson

Most ppl don’t know the party was that close to death row office. I was shocked when I went to LA and visited the office and the museum. It’s crazy they would go there

Man in a bowtie? Shiet, so they send Brother Mouzone.

Biggie would still be alive if he never went to L.A. 6 months after Pac died 2Pac would be alive if he didn't hit Orlando

No way a case like this would be unsolved, we all know the only mfs that could get away without getting caught is the police

Me: “I know everything there is to know about the Tupac, Biggie case.”
VladTV: “Do you know about the guy in the striped shirt?”
Me: “Ooh!”

I don’t think people realise how lucky we are to actually have footage of both the 2Pac casino altercation and Biggie’s murder. I’m from the 90’s and I remember that camera were very rare. Really only used in certain places I.E. casinos, banks, etc. It wasn’t like it is today where you can get a digital camera for a few bucks and stick it to your front door and film the entire street. I bet Biggie’s killers were probably sweating when footage came out that was recorded by a bystander in a parked car.

I think the striped shirt dude was a spotter, maybe had a beeper or phone handy to let the shooter know, “hey get ready they rolling out”.
It’s also worth noting he disappears as the entourage begins to depart.

*Biggie and Pac's shootings involve something with getting into cars on a way to a party and traffic lights.*

I think this witness actually saw someone ducking after hearing the gunshots and may have been holding his hand in a way that she thought it was him. I don't think this witness is worth a shit to be honest

The Killer could of had them people call in to throw off Authorizes also. People are smarter than you think they could of just seen him outside.

I don't know how I missed this series. Better late than never, I guess. 😉 BTW, Unsolved was amazingly done. Just as a crime drama alone. If the whole thing was fiction about 2 rappers that never existed, it would still be great
