Kubota BX25D not moving—quick diagnosis

First, my apologies for the unsteady video at times. My BX25 was not moving. Neither the forward or reverse hydrostatic pedals were moving the tractor at all, but all other hydraulic functions worked. A small nut that connects the transmission to the rod that runs to the pedal was missing. A seemingly easy fix. You have to remove the hydraulic filter to access the nut, and I also removed the wheel (although the video does not show this). Even with those things removed, it is a very tight fit for larger hands. The repair takes a great deal of patience, but once completed, the problem was solved.

Great tip! Just had the same problem with my bobcat tractor. It was working fine then out of no where no power to move forward or reverse. I will definitely use this information to troubleshoot my issue so thank you for the video!

Thank you for sharing. This was the exact issue I was having with my BX2380. I was able to fix. I used an M8-1.0 nut and double nutted to hopefully prevent this from happening again.

This is a little embarrassing, I had the same problem, no forward or reverse, after taking off the skid plate and finding the nut, it was fine. I then called my dealer and he asked if it was in gear. It turns out that the high low shift lever on the right side of the driver's seat got moved just enough to put the tractor in neutral! Once back in gear, it was fine! Check that first!!

Happened to my thanks, do you know what size type of thread on the nut?
