Firefighter saves American flag from California wildfire

Firefighters in Ventura County, California, are battling a fast-moving wildfire that has consumed more than 10,000 acres after breaking out Wednesday morning.

Officials said the so-called Mountain Fire has damaged multiple homes, with high winds forecast to continue overnight.

Several Southern California counties are under "extremely critical" wildfire warnings as warm, dry temperatures and strong winds create volatile fire conditions.

I was right smack in the middle of these fires and I can tell you that the music on this video is the perfect eerie description of how it felt when those were happening. It was extremely strange and eerie and there's no way to describe it.

My heart goes out. In Australia we're all too familiar with these types of fires and the tragedy that they bring. Saving that flag was an incredible thing to do. It speaks volumes.

That dude isn’t a firefighter look closer at his attire, he’s just a guy rescuing his American flag and his trump flag which he grabs at the end of the clip. He’s endangering his own life, the life of the person recording and the lives of rescuers responding in the area.
