What is important to realize with this particular concert is that this is roughly 2, 5 years after the fall of Communism. This is Romania, a country that lived behind the Iron Curtain for decades. To have Michael Jackson come and make such an entrance and such a concert is something that NO-ONE had ever seen before. He represented Western Society, Money and Wealth and Freedom. So his appearance here is almost like a Messiah and God. The youth of Romania just passed out from the sheer awesomeness of it all.

I love all the crowd shots in this, what incredible energy there was that night. The rest of the first part of this concert felt really rushed but this was perfect.
