"Spinning Wheel" is a song from 1968 by the band Blood, Sweat & Tears, written by Canadian lead vocalist David Clayton-Thomas and appearing on their eponymous album.
Released as a single in 1969, "Spinning Wheel" peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July of that year, remaining in the runner-up position for three weeks. "Spinning Wheel" was kept out of the #1 position by both "The Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" by Henry Mancini and "In the Year 2525" by Zager and Evans. In August of that year, the song topped the Billboard Easy Listening chart for two weeks. It was also a crossover hit, reaching #45 on the US R&B chart.
"Spinning Wheel" was nominated for three Grammy Awards at the 1970 ceremony, winning in the category Best Instrumental Arrangement. The arranger for the song was the band's saxophonist, Fred Lipsius. It was nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year; the album won the Grammy for Album of the Year. (Wikipedia)

Georgy Porgy’s Favourites Uploaded - Blood 🩸 Sweat 😅 and Tears 😭 - Spinning Wheel (1968)
❤ Love It, ❤ Love It, ❤Love It. This is definitely my kind of band, music 🎵 is absolutely delightful.
You’ve got it sorted with this great band. Video Photography Spot On. Obviously, the Spinning Wheel defining the origin of this song.
I’m enthralled at the introduction the Brass accompanying the mesmerising drum 🥁 stick beat.
You’ve missed nothing out. The Countryside setting took my breath away as did the psychedelic colourful photography.
This band know their talents and each individual member has extreme knowledge of his musical instrument 🎷 especially love ❤️ the Sax. (my favourite instrument).
I’m blown away by B. S. & T’s.
You’ve certainly got a challenge on your hands 🙌 to beat this amazing band.
I’m sure you’re up for a challenge!!! I’ll leave you as to your next choice.
As for me, I’m continuing listening to this stunning band’s musical 🎵 performance yet again. Thank You 🙏 for choosing it …. Aghh

Again -- as usual -- *another* fine production of an age-old classic... one of my favorites from the '60s era.

Not to go on and on [as in my other comments], but Valerie Chapman says it all... you didn't miss a thing, on this one!

On some songs, I keep two or more videos of [that same] title... figured that my friends can decide which one(s) they want... well -- of this particular song title -- *this* video is right up there with the other four [of this title]... a close first with the Woodstock 1969 one. 😎💊✌
