My son has been singing this for a few days now, his 6th grade teacher showed it in class. I don't think he even realized that he was learning the material. From hearing him, I have found myself along with my 8yr old singing it.

That's cool. I wrote this song for last year's seventh graders whom I now teach as 8th graders. They love the song and sort of see it as "their song". I just hope that when they get to high school biology, the equation for photosynthesis has a way of sticking in their minds!
