The series pays homage to two horror franchises. In the Spellman living room, the ceiling has the same color glass as the ceiling in Suspiria, which is also about a coven of witches. There is also a scene where Harvey falls asleep with headphones on, and he also is wearing a crop top. This is a reference to Johnny Depp’s character in Nightmare on Elm Street. Also, not only does this show share the same universe as Riverdale, but it seems to share a universe with Supernatural as well. The black Chevy Impala can be seen in the background of multiple shots.

I just finished this show and it was amazing. I haven’t watched Sabrina the teenage witch though but I have a feeling I wouldn’t like it

Can you guys stop comparing this show to "Sabrina the Teenage Witch". This isn't a remake which is obvious because they weren't trying to make it a remake. Hell, they didn't even try to make it based on that. I think you all forget that there's a comic book series called the "Archie Comics" which is what this show is based on, so is Riverdale. Look I agree Riverdale was bad. But if you guys look at this show as a rendition of the comics(which it is) just with a horror twist, instead of thinking of it as a remake of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, then you'll like it I'm sure.

It would have been interesting to see how witches would feel about the internet and see witches debate if humans are actually starting to match them in power but from a way they themselves have not thought possible.

What ever this show was, it isn't Sabrina

If you are a fan of Chilling Adventures or Supernatural I HIGHLY RECOMMEND “THE SECRET CIRCLE” ⭕️. It is such a fun show. Sadly it was short lived but I was such a fan.

Sorry but this Show cannot Replace the Original show, like I don't understand why you would call this show The Chillings Adventures of Sabrina. Why couldn't you do a remake of the Original Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
