I discovered Hummel a few years ago and instantly fell in love with his concerti. This piece is also quite anachronus in its feel in my opinion.

i have those 2 piano concertos op.85 & 89 played by STEPHEN HOUGH, they are gems in my collection, and if i remember correctly Stephen said these concertos by HUMMEL was something of the most demanding works he has done insofar virtuosity is concerned....
