I am retired NYPD. One of my Police Officers, Anthony Sanchez, one of the finest persons you could ever meet, in the 13th Pct was shot and killed in the line of duty, May 19, 1997, responding ding to a burglary call. At the cemetery “Our House” was playing on the bus radio speakers as we were getting off to walk to the grave site. I cannot hear this song and not think of Police Officer Anthony Sanchez and wherever and whenever I hear this beautiful song I cry.
