What is the max size area this can heat? Is it limited to smaller chips as in the video or can that be adjusted. Can it be used to pull cpu size chip from mobo? Thanks for video. Great step in the right direction for those soldering.

Hello from Italy, would you recommend this welding method even for somewhat larger components and also micro resistors etc? Is it a good car or is it still too early to buy? Works like crap. Burns off OC so not good for replacement. Hot air uses convection from moving air to heat under and around the IC. A laser as cool as it seems can only heat the top.
