The Argument For Eating SLOWLY

If you eat your food too fast then your brain won't even realize that it needs to begin the digestion process...

If you're able to slow down your eating then you will greatly improve digestion and signal your body's satiety hormones so that you don't overeat.

Enjoy!

NEW HERE?
Hi, I’m Stephen Cabral, Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy and Integrative Health Practitioner.

For years I struggled with trying to figure out how to overcome multiple life-alternating illnesses such as auto-immune, Addisons, type 2 diabetes, digestive, allergies, insomnia, and debilitating fatigue.

Then I discovered a mentor who taught me how to combine and integrate multiple health practices into one. From there I tested these theories by traveling all around the world and discovering how to finally help people rebalance their bodies and live the life they always wanted.

I’m happy to say that after being shown the way and now creating my own proven protocols based on combining the best of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with state-of-the-art Functional Medicine my team and I have completed over 250,000 appointments helping people just like you and I.

If you’re interested in getting well, losing weight, or living longer stronger, I look forward to helping you to accomplish those goals. Be well and please always reach out if you have any questions or if my team and I can be of service!

I was guilty of that for so long. I inhaled my food. I stopped and now enjoy and appreciate my food. My digestion improved immensely.
Thank you for reminding us.

The breathing in between bites is so crucial. It allows me to calm down and not make the habit of swallowing early to breathe. That may sound absolutely insane but its true for me. Thanks doc for helping me break bad habits

Our food need to masticate at least 30 to 40 times with our saliva, in that way the food will be digested and the 80% of nutrients will be absorbed in our body. Without enough saliva our food will slow to digest that can lead to big stomach

I chew and make the food into liquid then I swallow, it takes time 😅 and the people who give me company during meal get frustrated 😔. Is it a problem or a disease of slow eating?
